Related: Last night I attended the TED@London auditions for TED2013. The Canadian comedian Mike Wood, prior to demonstrating his cabbage-catching helmet for catapulted cabbages, said of London, “It’s a city where people from all around the world come together to avoid eye contact.”
Simon’s words = not so nice, but I know what he means. Mike’s words = perfect. I heartily laughed out loud at the latter.
